The Obama administration is determined to turn this country inside out.   In a few short months, our country has become weaker and our government bigger.

Americans can not accept this any longer.

Bunker Hill Part 2 Begins Today

Tuesday, January 19, 2010 8:58:06 PM

Today might be the day when Americans began to take their country back. Tonight, votes in Massachusetts will be counted (hopefully only once) to determine who gets the open Senate seat. On one side, a Democrat who has committed more verbal gaffes in two weeks than Sarah Palin has in two years. A woman who clearly expects to win simply because she is a Democrat. On the other side, a virtually unknown Republican who has campaigned hard and honestly that his main qualification is his intent to stop Obamacare.

Tomorrow, regardless of the outcome, BO, Pelosi and friends will insist nothing has changed and continue with their determined efforts in absolute rejection of the will of the American people.   Allow me to once again try and burst their bubble of oblivion by listing just a couple things that have changed.

#1 – Americans want to live in a democracy, not a monarchy. Regardless of what the media says, the open Senate seat in Massachusetts does not belong to the Kennedy’s. It does not belong to the Democrats. It belongs to the people of the state and they decide who sits in it.   Their apparent willingness to elect a Republican in this solidly Democratic state speaks volumes about how fed up people are with the elitist, entitlement mentality that the Dems so openly flaunt.   And this applies to Caroline in NY state, Burris in IL, and any other Dem who thinks they can get a seat in government simply because of their name or the color of their skin.

#2 – Americans want their representatives to represent them.   Revolutionary concept, isn’t it?   You people in the White House and Congress did not get a mandate to become our parents, forcing us to accept what you think is good for us.   Your job is to do our will and you are clearly not. Last November’s elections should have taught you that, but you obviously do not care about our will.

#3 – Americans do not want Obamacare.

#4 – See #3.

Let’s hope Scott Brown’s election is the start of a new American Revolution; a rebirth of the Bunker Hill spirit where patriotic Americans, in the face of seemingly insurmountable odds, take a stand and start to reverse the damage done to our democracy in the past year.
