Welcome to Right Hope!

Our mission is simple:

To provide a conservative and traditionalist perspective on the times in which we live.

We invite you to explore our blogs for timely, informed, and respectful opinions on the issues that impact our lives and our great country.

Why Right Hope?

The Obama administration is determined to turn this country inside out.   In a few short months, our country has become weaker and our government bigger.

Americans can not accept this any longer.

It’s now our turn to be heard.   Please join us in keeping traditional values, the voice of reason, and true hope alive!    Register today and become part of the Right Hope for the future!

Exercise your First Amendment rights

Monday, November 23, 2009 9:21:11 PM

I recently attended a meeting of a local convervative group calling themselves The Thomas Jefferson Club.   Approximately 200 people were in attendance.   Men and women of all ages.  Native-born and new citizens.   These are people that on the surface would seem to have nothing in common.  But in reality, they share a deep concern about the future of this nation -- so much so that they've taken the time -- sometimes for the first time -- to make their voices heard.  Contrary to popular media depiction, they were not rednecks, racists, or hate-spewing maniacs.    There were veterans, housewives, young couples, single people.   Not a white hood or burning cross was in sight.

So what did this group of radicals do?   We said the Pledge of Allegiance (with God still in it).   We listened to members tell of their recent large yet largely unconvered protests in D.C. on 9/12.   We listened to lectures on Western Culture by columnists and recent college graduates.  We listened to each other vent our heartfelt concerns and we gathered strength from the experience.

Those of you sitting home wondering what can you do... find or found a group like this in your area.   Take advantage of your freedom of speech and freedom of assembly before these rights are taken away.
